Yoga embodies my connection to life, nature, and the relationships that shape my world. In my mid-30s, feeling overwhelmed by the pace of life in London, I returned to Scotland to realign my priorities and seek clarity. It was there, somewhat unexpectedly, that my yoga journey began — in a hot yoga studio in Shawlands. The intensity of those 90-minute classes became a catalyst for deep self-reflection. For the first time, I consciously dedicated time solely to myself, setting in motion a transformative journey of personal growth and discovery that continues to unfold today.
Since then, I have completed extensive training in various yoga disciplines in the UK and Portugal, including seasonal yoga, vinyasa, yin yoga, restorative practices, trauma informed and aerial yoga.
Additionally, I have certifications in sound healing and therapy from the Sound Healing Academy, integrating the use of Tibetan Singing Bowls and other instruments into my classes. My dedication to yoga has allowed me to refine my teaching skills, and I incorporate chanting and mantras into my classes to enhance the experience.
I specialise in yin yoga and aerial yoga, harmonising yin and yang energies to cultivate balance and vitality. My classes nurture the body through mindful movement, blending stability and flexibility with patience, surrender, strength, and gentleness. Rooted in the principles of Traditional Chinese Medicine (TCM), I thoughtfully weave concepts such as meridian theory and the flow of qi into my teaching, supporting the body’s natural ability to restore harmony and health.
My teaching style is guided by a deep passion for movement, community, compassion, and a positive, light-hearted spirit. Above all, my aim is to enhance physical, mental, and spiritual well-being, while fostering a warm, supportive community where everyone feels cared for and inspired.
I remain deeply grateful to all of my yoga teachers, past and present, whose wisdom and guidance have profoundly shaped my journey.

Seasonal changes and Cyclical Living
Samhain is an ancient Gaelic festival and marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of the Celtic New Year. Meaning “summer’s end,” it indicates the transition from the warm months to the colder, darker part of the year.
It symbolises transition as the days grew shorter and darkness prevailed, the Celts saw this as a metaphorical descent into the realm of the dead. This understanding of the cyclical nature of life and death is a fundamental aspect of Samhain.
The Super Beaver Moon will be the second full moon of Autumn and will cast a silvery glow over the landscape.
Named by the Algonquin tribe of North America, this full Moon rises at the time of year when beavers begin to build their winter lodges. It serves as a reminder of the importance of community and resourcefulness. This moon is associated with themes of resourcefulness, community, and togetherness.
It invites us to connect in community, to acknowledge the abundance in our lives, and to take stock of our accomplishments of the year. It encourages introspection and pause.
In this Winter retreat we will rest, restore and nourish ourselves and prepare for the colder months ahead. We will embrace moments of movement and mindful stillness as we transition the seasons together.
This stunning space has the most amazing views and sunsets. Surrounded by farmland on a private estate The Lodge is a perfect place to reset and return to nature. It has a private garden to the rear and decking area to the front.
It also benefits from a beautiful open plan living area with a gorgeous indoor fire. The private garden has a fire pit and a wood fired hot tub to view those beautiful, wintery starry skies.

This is a great way to experience the benefits of aerial yoga in a unique and fun way. This form of yoga involves performing traditional yoga poses using the silk as a prop. The hammock allows for greater flexibility and range of motion, as well as providing support and reducing the impact on joints. We also play with inversions in this class. I would recommend that if you have glaucoma, hypertension, hip replacement, epilepsy, suffer from seizures or epilepsy you consult your doctor before attending.
The benefits of this practice are spinal decompression, improved blood circulation, compliments a regular yoga practice by offering your body assistance with the silk, lifts your mood this practice can be really playful and many other benefits!

In May, nature hums with quiet, fertile energy. The world is abundant, and the rhythm of the season calls us to align with its steady, nourishing pulse — to breathe deeply, to notice the small joys, and to plant seeds that will flourish in the months ahead.
