Yoga embodies my connection to life and how I treat myself and others, In my mid-30s, I recognised the need for change as I was living a busy life in London, burning the candle at both ends. Completely worn out, I returned to Scotland to re-evaluate my life. That's where I began to rebuild my relationship with myself. My yoga journey started unexpectedly in a hot yoga studio in Shawlands, engaging in intense 90-minute sessions while reflecting on myself in the mirror. The challenge of dedicating that time exclusively to myself was incredibly demanding but equally fulfilling. It initiated a transformative journey that still goes on and will continue for the foreseeable future.
Since then, I have fully immersed myself in various yoga teacher training programs in the UK and Portugal, covering seasonal yoga, vinyasa, yin yoga, restorative practices, and aerial yoga. I have also pursued training in sound healing and therapy with the Sound Healing Academy, so you can expect to experience the soothing sounds of Tibetan Singing Bowls in most of my classes. My passion for yoga has helped me rediscover my voice, which had faded during my teenage years, and I now incorporate chanting and mantras into my classes.
My expertise lies in yin yoga and aerial yoga, representing the balance between yin and yang energies. Embracing qualities such as patience, surrender, strength, and gentleness, my classes focus on nurturing the body through mindful movements, allowing for a harmonious blend of stability and flexibility amidst life's ups and downs.
My teaching style comes from a place of total passion for movement, community, compassion and light-heartedness. My ultimate goal is to help people feel better physically, mentally, spiritually and to be part of a community that care for one another.

Seasonal changes and Cyclical Living
Samhain is an ancient Gaelic festival and marks the end of the harvest season and the beginning of the Celtic New Year. Meaning “summer’s end,” it indicates the transition from the warm months to the colder, darker part of the year.
It symbolises transition as the days grew shorter and darkness prevailed, the Celts saw this as a metaphorical descent into the realm of the dead. This understanding of the cyclical nature of life and death is a fundamental aspect of Samhain.
The Super Beaver Moon will be the second full moon of Autumn and will cast a silvery glow over the landscape.
Named by the Algonquin tribe of North America, this full Moon rises at the time of year when beavers begin to build their winter lodges. It serves as a reminder of the importance of community and resourcefulness. This moon is associated with themes of resourcefulness, community, and togetherness.
It invites us to connect in community, to acknowledge the abundance in our lives, and to take stock of our accomplishments of the year. It encourages introspection and pause.
In this Winter retreat we will rest, restore and nourish ourselves and prepare for the colder months ahead. We will embrace moments of movement and mindful stillness as we transition the seasons together.
This stunning space has the most amazing views and sunsets. Surrounded by farmland on a private estate The Lodge is a perfect place to reset and return to nature. It has a private garden to the rear and decking area to the front.
It also benefits from a beautiful open plan living area with a gorgeous indoor fire. The private garden has a fire pit and a wood fired hot tub to view those beautiful, wintery starry skies.

This is a great way to experience the benefits of aerial yoga in a unique and fun way. This form of yoga involves performing traditional yoga poses using the silk as a prop. The hammock allows for greater flexibility and range of motion, as well as providing support and reducing the impact on joints. We also play with inversions in this class. I would recommend that if you have glaucoma, hypertension, hip replacement, epilepsy, suffer from seizures or epilepsy you consult your doctor before attending.
The benefits of this practice are spinal decompression, improved blood circulation, compliments a regular yoga practice by offering your body assistance with the silk, lifts your mood this practice can be really playful and many other benefits!
Soulshine Studio, Biggar
I discovered an absolutely beautiful gem and contacted Louise, the owner, to inquire if she would allow me to teach aerial yoga there. Soon after I was there with my silks draping them on the gorgeous beams. Fast forward a few weeks, one workshop down and many more in the diary.....it's been a huge success and everyone absolutely loved it! You can find the timetable on my scheduling link below.
